Bethany Global University’s Christian Montessori Training Center (CMTC) is accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) and the Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE).
About MACTE
The Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE), founded in 1995, is dedicated to improving academic degree and certificate programs for Montessori professional educators – those who teach and lead in schools, Infant and Toddler through Secondary II, and to assure the public of their quality.
MACTE accredits certification programs based on (1) the evidence they have that they prepare competent, caring, and qualified professional Montessori educators and (2) their capacity to monitor and improve the program’s quality. MACTE believes this is the soundest way to assure the public about the quality of these programs. The Montessori teacher education program, not the college, school, department, or other administrative unit of the institution, receives MACTE accreditation.
About the ABHE
The Association of Biblical Higher Education the oldest Bible college accreditation agency, specializing in biblical ministry formation and professional leadership education. It is officially recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the U.S. Department of Education. It is also one of the eight regional associations that make up the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education (ICETE), representing North America.
ABHE provides the best option for maintaining high academic standards while also sharing the Christian faith. Their Accreditation Standard on Institutional Integrity requires institutions to be honest and open with its compliance regarding accrediting, licensing and governing bodies.

Associations
Christian Montessori Fellowship: The Christian Montessori Training Center is also a member of the Christian Montessori Fellowship. This group is fellowship of like minded Montessori educators after God’s own heart that provides training, resources, and conferences, and community to CMTC.
Hand In Hand Christian Montessori: The CMTC is operated on Bethany Global University’s campus where Hand In Hand Christian Montessori (HIHCM) has a working lab school with children from preschool age to later elementary. HIHCM is the largest Christian Montessori school in the country with it’s main campus in Roseville, MN.
