CMTC is a program of the non-profit missions organization Bethany International, who’s mission is to take the church to where it is not and help other’s do the same. This is the ultimate aim of the Christian Montessori Training Center.
Bethany Global University
Bethany Global University is college dedicated to training Christian missionaries and is nationally accredited by the Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), the oldest Bible college accreditation agency, specializing in biblical ministry formation and professional leadership education. It is officially recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the U.S. Department of Education. BGU is also one of eight federal work colleges in the United States.
The CMTC Certificate Program is offered both as a certification after obtaining either a AA or BA in Intercultural Ministry Studies with an Early Childhood Education Minor at Bethany Global University (BGU) and as a stand-alone certification for adult learners outside of the BGU.
Hand In Hand Christian Montessori
Hand In Hand Christian Montessori is a Christian Academy in Minnesota’s Twin Cities. Started in 1999 with a handful of parents in a summer camp, currently, our Christian Montessori program is one of the largest in the country with hundreds of active learners. Our Roseville campus offers Preschool through 8th grade and our Bloomington campus offers Preschool through 6th grade.
The CMTC utilizes the campuses of Hand In Hand Christian Montessori (HIH) in both Roseville, MN and Bloomington, MN as well as the college campus of Bethany Global University (BGU). Both the orientation and debrief sessions are held in the Red Barn at the BGU. The facilities offer a kitchenette, ADA bathrooms, workspace, copy machine and telephone accessibility. A completely furnished Children’s House and Elementary Classroom will be the settings for the training.
Kids of the Nations International School (KONIS)
Kids of the Nations International School (KONIS) is the only authentic Christian English-speaking Montessori school in Korea. The vision for the school was conceived by the founders during a visit to the YWAM Kona more than 10 years ago. KONIS currently offers Toddler and Primary classrooms as well as Elementary language after-school program.
KONIS has been partnering with CMTC since the very beginning to provide a bridge for the CMTC graduates on their Montessori journey to foreign lands. The common vision is for the CMTC graduates to gain professional Montessori experience in Korea while they prepare to launch onto their ultimate mission sites to teach or to open a Montessori school. KONIS will further support the CMTC graduates’ efforts to create relationship with the extensive and diverse mission-related resources and networks available in Korea and worldwide.
In the near future, KONIS will launch the regional CMTC campus in Seoul, offering MACTE accredited training more conveniently to those from the surrounding Asian nations.
