Kids of the Nations International School (KONIS)
Kids of the Nations International School (KONIS) is the only authentic Christian English-speaking Montessori school in Korea. The vision for the school was conceived by the founders during a visit to the YWAM Kona more than 10 years ago. KONIS currently offers Toddler and Primary classrooms as well as Elementary language after-school program.
KONIS has been partnering with CMTC since the very beginning to provide a bridge for the CMTC graduates on their Montessori journey to foreign lands. The common vision is for the CMTC graduates to gain professional Montessori experience in Korea while they prepare to launch onto their ultimate mission sites to teach or to open a Montessori school. KONIS will further support the CMTC graduates’ efforts to create relationship with the extensive and diverse mission-related resources and networks available in Korea and worldwide.
In the near future, KONIS will launch the regional CMTC campus in Seoul, offering MACTE accredited training more conveniently to those from the surrounding Asian nations.
